Great sausage sandwich! It is a local shop that gave great suggestions! It's nice seeing a couple making great food

I got a cheeseburger, which came with fries, and onion rings. The onion rings were great, crispy to perfection. The cheeseburger was huge and delicious. They could keep the fries. The fries were right out of a freezer bag.

We were pleasantly surprised with our first cheesesteak. It was packed with meat and cheese along with onions, green pepper, banana peppers and mushrooms. We are also from the Philly area. Will return and it's close by.

YUM! Picked up my 2 Philly sandwiches...still hot after a 35-minute drive home.. Delicious...Yum...and any other wonderful word you can think of!...still the best around...well worth the 35-minute drive.

Finally a Cheesesteak that can hold it's own against cheesesteaks actually made in the City of Brotherly Love!! For the past 3+ years I've been looking for a cheesesteak that compares to what I was used to getting when I lived in the Philadelphia area. Philly 40 is the spot! This was my first time getting food here and apparently I came at the right time. It was their 2nd day open under new ownership and management. Let me start by saying that the manager (Ambria) was very friendly, when I was placing my order on the phone. She made me feel even more welcome when I arrived to pick up my food. I was treated like an old friend or family member (in a good way lol). I give the classic cheesesteak an A+++, it was excellent. The roll was fresh, and soft with a slightly "crusty" shell (which is the way it should be), and the ribeye steak was flavorful, and seasoned just right. I went with Provolone cheese, and grilled onions which were proportioned perfectly with the generous portion of ribeye! If you want an excellent Cheesesteak, Philly 40 is the place to go!! I will be back again and again!

IF YOU WANT AN AUTHENTIC PHILLY, GET YOUR A** HERE!! This place really had me at hello. You're greeted by a very cool guy who knows his way around a Philly just look at the pics! My fam and I gobbled those phillys down like it was our last supper. The cheese wiz on the fries are mixed with cheddar, they made these fries spectacular! EPIC EPIC EPIC fresh bread too! WOW just wow also very well packaged and luxury napkins YOU CANT BEAT IT! Try this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Small business that packs a big cheesteak sammie .. Former philly resident we love our steaks !! Very healthy portion .. great flavor .. friendly owner .. will be back

Honestly was shocked this place was rated so low. We are in town visiting family and the regular place they go to was closed Christmas Eve, but this place happened to be open! So glad we stopped here, when I look at a Philly cheesesteak place, if they don't at least offer Wiz - I have a hard time taking it seriously. Nothing worse than going to a place that claims to be "philly" style only to have American or provolone as the only options. I got the #2 with Wiz and it was perfection. Some places where you get Philly's are so greasy and overloaded with wiz that the whole thing is falling apart into a complete mess. Not the case here, perfect amount of meat and wiz, while the roll held together perfectly. For those in our group that didn't go with wiz and got provolone, the cheese seemed almost non-existent. You could see the tiniest strands, so maybe they chop it into the meat? It definitely wasn't smothered on top like in the photo someone else posted here on Yelp. So, if you're going with provolone, I would suggest going for extra cheese! We also split a couple bags of fries which were solid and well seasoned, a perfect complement to the cheesesteaks.
